A native of San Antonio, Rick has been in the real estate and construction industry locally since 1986. As a marketing and development consultant, he helped several San Antonio builders grow from small custom builders to major players in the local market during the 1980's and on through the mid 90's. Rick has earned numerous awards in both sales and marketing during his career.
As a local homebuilder he has built over a 100 custom homes in San Antonio and the surrounding Texas Hill Country. Shumake is also known as an expert in the local real estate community in the foreclosure and pre-foreclosure market.
His knowledge of the local real estate market and his expertise in construction and marketing has enabled him to assist hundreds of families over the past 24 years.
He is happily married to the wife of his dreams, has five children, lives in San Antonio and is an active in his church, as well as industry and community affairs.
